2mW of power, 20 tower lights, 6.5km of festoon, 40 stillage’s of cabling and distribution, 200 energy floodlights and an outstanding crew!
When Standon founder Alex sent out the invitations to his birthday garden party in 2005, he could never have imagined the scale, joy and excitement of what we have all come to know as the Standon Calling Festival and 2016 was no exception……..what a cracker! Jess Glynne, Kelis, Suede and Everything Everything took to the main stage while The Hives, Goldie and many others performed across the festivals other eight stages.
Figure of Eight provided all of the temporary power and site lighting infrastructure for the Hertfordshire festival which took place between 29th and 31st July. This included generators, cabling, distribution boards, fuel management and extensive site and emergency lighting.
Project manager Rich Rayner commented, “it’s a pleasure to be involved in Standon Calling and work with such a great creative team. We worked hard to deliver a solid service for the festival and also put into place cost saving solutions from our wealth of experience working on projects of this nature.”
“We also take our environmental responsibilities on festivals very seriously. We specify and provide highly efficient LED lighting and festoon as standard. Through these simple steps we are able to save fuel both helping our clients budget and carbon footprint.”
