The kaleidoscopic Christmas attraction in Cardiff has established itself as the nation’s premier festive light trail. Christmas at Bute Park is one of the largest light trails in the UK with a host of installations created by a selection of world-class artists.

- 22,000L fuel capacity storage on site
- Over 100 distribution boards and 8km of heavy mains cabling
challenges
- Creating a series of synchronised generator packages to ensure minimum fuel use possible
- Deployment of new hybrid solar generator to power production area which not only runs from solar and battery, but also charges up from the lighting trail generators during opening hours. This deployment resulted in a fuel saving of nearly 3,000L of fuel.
